Saturday, February 4, 2012, The Greater Hollywood Area Unity Day 23 at Musicians Local 47, 817 Vine Street, Hollywood, CA. 90038. Event starts with Brunch from 10-11 am, Welcome Meeting 11-12, Meetings and Workshops from 12:15-5 pm. Main Meeting at 6 pm and the damce from 9 until the joint closes. Tickets for this event are $25 presale, includes Brunch and a nice Souvenir Mug, the dance only is $10 and you can reserve a table for 10 at $250.

The Southern California Regional Cruise Committee of Narcotics Anonymous invites you to sail north to Alaska on the “Reaching New Horizons” cruise. Departing August 26, 2012 with a planned return on September 2, 2012 from Seattle Washington. For this trip you will need a Passport and Reservations. Payment plans are available and a link is provided on the flier. It takes a whole committee to plan an event such as this. CONVENTION OPPORTUNITIES

The Greater East Los Angeles Area Convention Committee is accepting Speaker Tapes and CD’s. If you are interested in speaking at the 2nd convention send your submission by 1/12. Speakers min 7 yrs clean and workshop 5 yrs clean.

A CALL TO SERVICE

The Southern California Region Narcotics Anonymous currently has positions open on the Board of Directors. Great opportunity to get experience as a Director of 501c3 Corporation as well as serve the Fellowship. Any special requests for the BOD can also be expressed in the short survey included on the form

The Southern California Regional Phonelines is seeking phoneline volunteers for the Regional Helpline. Volunteers are needed for both Spanish and English Helpline numbers. Many addicts first contact with the Fellowship is by that first call to the Regional Helpline. Addicts from out of town may be searching for a meeting in the Southern California Region and require a little assistance to get there. You can provide this.
