Saturday July 4, 2009 The Greater Los Angeles Area Presents Celebrating Freedom, at The Greater LA Clubhouse, 5852 S. Western Ave. LA, CA 90047. Beginning at 6 pm until 9 pm followed by the dance from 9:30 ‘til 1 am. Donation for dance is $6.00 (recovery homes $3.00).

Sunday August 9, 2009 The West Side Area’s Women’s Luncheon, at the Marina del Rey Hotel, 15354 Bali Way, Marina del Rey CA. 90290. Event starts at 11 am (doors open at 10:30) and ends at 3 pm. No meals will be served after 12 pm. Donation is $30 and tickets must be purchased in advance. Come and enjoy food, fellowship and lots of fun!

Saturday August 22, 2009 The Santa Clarita Area Celebrates its 10th Birthday, at First Presbyterian Church, 24317 Newhall Ave. , Newhall, CA. Starting at 9 am with coffee and donuts, then from 10 - 12:00 pm there is a live audio World Convention hookup from Barcelona, Spain; then the BBQ followed by the Speaker Meeting at 2 pm. Dinner plate donation is $5(pre sale)/$6(at door) for the hot dog or treat yourself and friends to the tri-tip plate for $10 / $12 respectively.

September 4, 5 and 6, 2009 The Inland Empire West 19th Annual Labor Day H&I Marathon at 2180 W. Valley Blvd., Pomona, CA 91768. Recovery kicks off at 8 pm Friday and continues through the next 43 hours. Workshops and training, Starlight Karaoke and on Saturday from 5-7 pm BBQ/Potluck with a dance after the main meeting ($7.00 donation).

Southern California Regional Convention Committee is currently accepting artwork and logo  submissions of speaker tapes for the upcoming 2010 Convention. Deadline is July 15, 2009.

Southern California Regional Convention 30 is currently accepting the submission of speaker tapes for the upcoming 2009 Convention. Main Speaker 7 yrs clean, Workshop Speaker minimum 4 yrs clean.

Southern California Regional Board of Directors is currently seeking members for the following commitments: Office Manager and Assistant Merchandise Chair. If you have at least 5 years clean and have some business experience there is a opportunity to learn about overseeing and serving a not for profit organization.

The Southern California Region Activities Committee Narcotics Anonymous Calendar.
Here is the activities calendar for scheduled, upcoming, area and regional  activity dates. If your committee is thinking of planning an event at the regional level this is the first step in planning the date. Dates are assigned at the regional activities meeting held on the first Wednesday at 7:30 pm. at the regional service office.
